FirefighterClassification: Hybrid Tea Rose
Bred by Joseph Orard, France 1998 Petal count: 40 to 45 Fragrance: Very Strong, Fruity Source: Helpmefind.com One of the featured roses in the Heroes' themed rose garden at the UGC. This rose was named in honor of 9-11 firefighters who lost their lives in New York. An offspring of “Lasting Love” and “Hidalgo” roses with good disease resistance. Tall and upright plant with fine thorns. One bloom can fragrance a whole room. Blooms on stately long and straight stems. Excellent cut flower although blooms open quite quickly. But that's a small price to pay for the intoxicating fragrance this rose emits. |
