Rose Garden Pavers
The HRS is proud to have partnered with the University of Hawaii’s CTAHR to establish the only public rose garden on the island of Oahu. Opened in February 2012, the Urban Garden Center Rose Garden has been a constant work-in-progress as we work to beautify and maintain the garden while bringing in more roses in different varieties for the public to enjoy.
We are happy to report that we are ahead of schedule for our ambitious plans to realign the pathway to the center of the garden initially planned for 2016. The sale of pavers will bring in much needed funds for this project as well as replenish funds for the continued maintenance of the roses.
